The Georgian
The Georgian spends her time cruising the Upper Thames from Windsor to Maidenhead, operating out of her base in Bray near Maidenhead. Beautifully finished inside and out, this boat, built-in 1996, is ideal for formal dining, buffets and parties for up to 60 guests. Her upper deck will take 80 in comfort, and her full-sized galley enables the more complex menu’s to be prepared by our experienced Head Chef. The Georgian – Charter Rates
We have several packages on offer that include food and entertainment; however, sometimes you may be looking to hire the boat only. If you are only looking to hire the Georgian, then the following rates apply.
1 hour hire £500
2 hour hire £1000
3hour hire £1500
4 hour hire £1800
The price will include the Skipper, crew and bar staff, licences bar and all relevant insurance, licences and permits
With this option, you are more than welcome to arrange for your own catering. However, you cannot bring your own beverages as we are a licensed premises.
Additional hours after 4 hours are £350 per hour and cruises must end at midnight.
Maximum Guests: 60 | Formal Dining: 60 | Buffet: 60 | Theatre: 40
For example, 60 guests for a 4-hour hire would be £20.00 per person.
For cooperate clients, it is worth noting that vessel hire is zero-rated for VAT.
How long do you need?
We aim to be at your departure point 15 minutes before your departure time. Then, at the end of the charter, we aim to be back alongside 15 minutes before the end. For example, if you hire the Georgian for 3 hours from 1 pm till 4 pm, we will arrive at 12.45 pm to aid boarding. Then depart at 1 pm for your cruise returning at 3:45 pm to help disembarkation.
If you require time to decorate or set up for your event, you will need to build this into your event or hire that boat for the extra time required. Building on the above example, if you required an hour to set up, we would arrive at 11:45 so that you may set up before welcoming your guests onboard at 12:45 pm departing at 1 pm. This would then be a 4-hour hire.
Where can we depart form?
Our standard departure points include Maidenhead Riverside Gardens opposite Jenners Cafe and the Windsor Leisure Center’s wharf, in Windsor. Other departure points can be arranged at Oakley Court Hotel, Monkey Island Estate, and The Riverside Marque as long as you are holding part of your event with them.
Although destinations along the Thames do not take a long time to go between by road, the river can take much longer. That is why we generally stay between Windsor and Maidenhead. Departure from elsewhere will incur a relocation charge.
